Half marathon training Week 5 Run 4

Like I said in the previous post, this just hasn’t been my week.  It was supposed to be miserable all today and of course it was raining when I left for the gym.  The entire time I was there, it didn’t rain.  Of course it didn’t.

The basics:

Run designation: easy, slow

Distance: 6 miles

Intended pace: 11 minutes per mile

Actual pace: 11’21” average pace

How did the run go?

All things considered, it was ok.  I wasn’t thrilled about the treadmill, but it was pouring when I left, so I figured it was the safest bet.  Next week I will need to run outside as I’m certainly not running on the treadmill for 8 miles!

 

Overall distance for week 5: 18.12

Overall distance for week 4: 17.05

Overall distance for week 3: 18.15

Overall distance for week 2: 14.08

Overall distance for week 1: 12.70
