Half marathon training Week 6 Run 4

I’m a bit behind in my posting, not that anyone’s noticed.

Saturday was my last run for week 6 and I was mostly able to avoid running in the rain.  There were a few moments where it rained for about 30 seconds, but it wasn’t too bad.  Most of the issues that I encountered on the run was down to poor fuelling and the insane gusty winds.

Overall, I felt that the run was ok, but I wasn’t at all pleased with the mile splits or how long it took overall.  I really must find a way to pace myself better and work to address running in windy conditions.  I did enjoy listening to one of the new Blake’s 7 audiobooks for the first half of the run, so that was probably the best part about it!
